About me

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and currently live and work in London. I studied Set Design at Universidad del Salvador and later expanded my practice through courses in photography, professional makeup (including social, FX, and body painting), and hyperrealistic art.
Art has always been part of my life. I began painting in oils and acrylics as a child, driven by a natural ability with my hands and a deep love for creating. Over the years, my artistic journey led me through various disciplines — from stage design and cake decoration to professional makeup — until I finally found my true voice in hyperrealism.
Since 2020, I have been fully dedicated to creating hyperrealistic works using graphite and coloured pencils. I began by teaching the technique, and after some years, I made the decision to focus entirely on developing my own artistic path. While my early works were based on photographs by other artists, today I work from my own inspiration — crafting objects with my hands, capturing them through my own photography, and translating them into drawings.
My pieces explore human emotion, thought, and action. They are personal reflections shaped into tangible forms.
In March 2024, I held my first exhibition at The Holy Art Gallery in London. Two of my drawings were also selected for the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2024, and have since been exhibited across the UK in venues including Buoy Store at Trinity Buoy Wharf, Salisbury Museum, Falmouth Art Gallery, Drawing Projects UK, and Manchester Waterside Gallery, from October 2024 through October 2025.
My name is Celeste, but I sign my work as Celu — the name my family and friends have always called me.
I'm always open to new opportunities, commissions, and creative collaborations. Feel free to get in touch!
